The 14th Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), the Premier Africa Film Awards® countdown has begun and the Africa Film Academy cordially invites filmmakers to submit their feature, short, animation and documentary works for consideration in nearly 30 categories of the awards. The deadline for all submissions is 30 th January 2018; a late entry deadline is 14/2/2018 . Submission is on Film Freeway and in any of the AMAA offices across the continent.

It's been a long time coming but as they say better late than never! Nollywood screenwriter, blogger and PR consultant Bola Aduwo has produced her very first movie, 'No Way Out' and is set to release it soon! The film which stars Sambasa Nzeribe, Uru Eke, Wole Ojo, Shawn Faqua, Collins Talker and features Joshua Ben-Shalom in a rivetting thriller that has you at the edge of your seat from start to finish.   The movie follows the story of a Journalist Tunji  (Wole Ojo)  and his British born girlfriend, DaVina (Uru Eke), who are in love and engaged to be married. Uru Eke and Wole Ojo as 'Vina' and 'Tunji' They set off on a cross-country trip to see Vina’s parents in the East to discuss marriage preparations when the unthinkable happens; they get ambushed and kidnapped by the blood-thirsty, notorious gang lord Dagogo (Sambasa) and his crazy crew of marauding misfits (Shawn Faqua and Collins Talker).
