If you have not heard the name Femi Oguns yet then you are about to be let into a very well-kept secret. I do trust however, that you have heard the names John Boyega and Letitica Wright though? If not then come and collect your LASTMA uniform and strokes of cane! Lol! If you have, then you should know Femi Oguns because he is the British-born Nigerian Talent Agent who helped them get roles in some of the biggest Hollywood franchises in recent times namely; Star Wars, Black Panther & now Pacific Rim . Infact actors from his agency are making some serious making waves in Hollywood right now. Femi Oguns (full name Olufemi Ogunsanwo) is a former actor who opened a school for actors (Identity School Of Acting) as well as a Talent Agency (Identity Agency Group) when he noticed a lack of opportunities for Black and minority actors in the the U.K. Now he has become the to-go-to guy if you are Black or looking for Black actors in the UK and the USA (Hollywood). TOMI ADEYEMI LANDS 7 FIGURE BOOK DEAL FOR 'CHILDREN OF BLOOD & BONE'!

Image
Something is happening in the world right now... I don't know if you feel it but I certainly do. There is an African Renaissance going on...the rise of cultural (& hopefully) scientific and economic renewal. The celebration of all things Black (Diasporan) & African. You have don't to be told to know. You see it all around you.  The African Renaissance Monument - a 49 meter tall bronze statue located in Dakar, Senegal. Built overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the Ouakam suburb, the statue was designed by the Senegalese architect Pierre Goudiaby  I noticed it started a couple of years ago with the love & acceptance of Nigerian music & dance steps, love of Ankara material, African jewelry, natural hairstyles etc now it has crossed over to films e.g Black Panther. Anyway I just got wind of this new Nigerian-American authour that goes by the name Tomi Adeyemi who has written a book titled The Children of Blood and Bone.

So I'm here to give you in all its richness and goodness.  Lupita Nyongo We are all still on a 'Black Panther' rush so let me just start right here with my 'Home girl'. She looks amazing, doesnt she?  Gorgeous Danai Gurira. She looks heavenly.  Viola Davis can do no wrong in my eyes... she always looks stellar on the red carpet. Here she is in hot pink. Only she could have pulled that colour off. Compliments her skin.
