Nollywood actor Bobby Michaels along with the rest of his family held a memorial for their late mother, Chief Charity Adannaya Onwu-Otuyelu, this past Sunday 11th of March at Amaigbo, Imo state. Though she transitioned a little over 6 months ago, her children decided to host family and friends to an awesome day of
song and dance in memory of the great woman who gave her all to
her children and to humanity.

Chief Mrs Charity Adannaya Onwu-Otuyelu was a poet,an award winning writer, playwright,ex-soldier, a registered nurse and former Director for Information and Culture in Imo state.in 1987. One of her book, 'Ifeanyi and Obi' won the prize for Best literature for children in West Africa. She was also honored in the United States for her contribution to the upliftment of the reading culture thru her work as a writer for children in Africa.
