BLESSING EGBE'S 'THE WOMEN' SELECTED FOR THE PAN AFRICAIN DE CANNES FILM FESTIVAL 2018!

I'm very happy to learn the Producer-Director Blessing Egbe has had her hilarious romantic comedy. 'The Women' selected to screen at 2018 Pan Africain De Cannes film festival! That is amazing! The excited producer shared the news earlier today and I must say this is a great boost to Nollywood as more people on the outside will have the opportunity to view this lovely film from Nigeria.


The movie stars Kate Henshaw, Omoni Oboli, Ufuoma Mcdermott, Kalu Ikeagwu, Femi Branch, Anthony Monjaro, Gregory Ojefua, Lilian Afegbai and many others.They were all phenomenal in this film about friends that came together to celebrate their friends 40th birthday at a resort and during the event different cans of worms were opened. I always say one thing... this is the wrong era to behave like a jerk. The time when you could misbehave and get away with it is over. Thanks to cell phones and social media, we have seen a slew of incidents in recent times where a person's bad behaviour has been recorded and they end up being shamed, sacked from their jobs or even arrested if the act is considered criminal. There is a particular family I came across earlier in the year on social media - The McClures.
