Nneka on Letterman

It truly warms my heart when I see the underdog win! When those you never gave a chance come and take the prize!  That person right now is a singer simply known as Nneka.  I simply love her voice...strong, tragic, powerful... she's too much.  For those not in the know, Nneka is a half-German, half-Nigerian Afro-soul, acoustic singer.  Thats the only way I can describe her music... afro soul acoustic.. whatever you call it it is brilliant. She is presently on a tour in the US and did a stop over at the David Letterman Show where she really represented.  Please we need more people like her to represent instead of the you know who's!  Oh! You dont know? Mum's the word! lol

I always say one thing... this is the wrong era to behave like a jerk. The time when you could misbehave and get away with it is over. Thanks to cell phones and social media, we have seen a slew of incidents in recent times where a person's bad behaviour has been recorded and they end up being shamed, sacked from their jobs or even arrested if the act is considered criminal. There is a particular family I came across earlier in the year on social media - The McClures. They consist of a White American Dad Justin , his Nigerian wife Ami and their adorable children; twins Ava & Alexis and little son Jersey .
