A time to thank Him...
Im going to digress from the usual norm and turn the spotlight towards me the blogger (ooh! squeamish!) I really dont like talking about myself... I like to be behind the scenes but this time I have to say a few things...it behoves to say a few things, so here goes:
Wow....has that time of the year really come again? What can I say? This has been a mixed bag...of highs, lows (and plateaus inbetween!) lol....I remember when I started this blog...towards the end of 2008..it really took on after the christmas holidays. I remember so vividly blogging about Obama's election into office....how time flies.(must have been having fun!) I really have to thankful to God to be alive to even be blogging this.
Had to have an operation this year which almost turned fatal... but for God's mercy and some 'angels' that got put here on earth, I wouldnt have been here today. I know some will want to remain unnamed but I will mention them by initials T.A (youre too much. God bless you immensely. I will always be grateful to you for your immense assistance) Wole Aduwo (my cousin and brother, bless you. Words can not express my appreciation) Dr.Dele Goodluck, Emem Isong (my good friend and sister from another mother, comrade in the trenches of Nollywood, bless you. Thanks so much for everything, Uduak Isong Oguamanam, Bro. Bade Olatunji, Pastors Quadri and co. of Redeemed Church Redemption Camp branch God bless you! Duro Olowu, Ihuoma Nnaji and most of all doctors and staff of Libra Specialist hospital. God bless you immensely. My family...especailly my mother Mrs Victoria I. Aduwo.Love you Mum. It is well.... I think of Tomike Omobuwajo and Caroline Johnson and I shake my head.... I say God why me? That you had mercy on my soul, why? I certainly have not been the most faithful. But Im here and Im well... Im alive. Sure, the issues are still there... the wants, the needs, but I'm still here. When I wake up in the morning, I know its a chance from Him to make it today. Thank you, Father. You have been good to me...Thank you...thank you..
